Before joining the Office of Teaching and Learning staff at NDSU, Stephanie Rispa taught Communication Arts and Literature for twenty years in North Dakota secondary schools. Along with sharing her passion for history and literature, Rispa assisted high school students research potential career pathways and develop educational plans. Additionally, she worked as the communication director for the National Center for Autonomous Technology--creating outreach initiatives, as well as mentoring instructors on best practices for curriculum structure and accessibility. Rispa has a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in history from Minot State University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts and Literature from Bemidji State University. She also has a certificate in life coaching with emphases on career coaching and self-care.

Rispa's role at OTL includes coordinating course offerings and logistics for dual-credit classes, providing support and guidance to early-entry/dual-credit students and their families, engaging in outreach activities to promote early-entry opportunities, and assisting with youth programming.
