Yao Kuang Lee

Yao Kuang Lee is a Lecturer in Costume Technology at North Dakota State University Theatre. Originally from Taiwan, she earned her MFA in Costume Design from Boston University and her BA in Theatre Arts from Brigham Young University.

Lee has worked internationally, including in Taiwan, Sweden, and New Zealand. Her professional experience spans costume design and crafts work with Boston University Opera Institute, BU School of Theatre, and American Repertory Theatre. She specializes in millinery, masks, leatherwork, dyeing, distressing, and theatrical makeup and hair.
