Zeb Watkins

Zeb is proud to be joining NDSU Division of Performing Arts in the Fall of 2026, after working in visit and event coordination in NDSU’s Office of Admission for 12 years. As the Division’s recruitment coordinator, he works with prospective and incoming students to explore NDSU’s music and theatre arts programs, help them feel comfortable making their college decision, and prepare and excite them to become Bison.

Zeb attended Butler University as an undergraduate student in bassoon and saxophone, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. He received his Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from NDSU.

In his spare time, Zeb is an active woodwind musician. He has been second bassoon in the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony since 2024 and has held positions in the Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra and Danville Symphony Orchestra (IL). He plays regularly with the Fargo-Moorhead Opera, FM Ballet, Theatre NDSU, Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra, and other groups in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
