Prepare to help individuals and families navigate financial decisions through NDSU’s financial planning and wealth management minor. Aligned with modern financial planning curriculum requirements, the program provides foundational knowledge in investments, insurance, retirement, tax and estate planning while emphasizing ethical responsibility and acting in clients’ best interests. Through real-world, case-based learning, students develop skills for careers in financial planning, wealth management and financial advisory services. As a CFP Board-Registered Program, the minor fulfills the education requirements to sit for the CFP® exam, preparing graduates to pursue CFP® certification.
