NDSU’s nuclear engineering undergraduate certificate provides engineering students specialized knowledge in the theory, design and application of nuclear technology. Open to students in any engineering discipline, the four-course certificate explores nuclear reactor theory and design, radiation shielding and safety, nuclear plant design and operations and nuclear waste handling and disposal.
