My interests are taxonomy, phylogeny and biogeography of Neotropical Pentatomoidea, Miridae, Dipsocoridae and Reduviidae, and more specifically, the biodiversity of terrestrial Hemiptera from Peru (1. "Panguana", Rio Pachitea, a biological station of the Zoologische Staatssammlung Munich, Germany; and 2. Manu National Park) and Costa Rica (1. National Park Santa Rosa in the NW part of CR; and 2. Mount Chirripo in NE of San Isidro de General).  I also work on the faun of Oriental Pentatomoidea (Vietnam and Indonesia [Sumatra, Sulawesi, Ceram]).
