Students may choose to attend many events in-person or virtually.  In-person events will follow the guidelines set by ND Smart Restart and NDSU, which include wearing facial coverings and social distancing.  More details on specific events and for each Welcome Week group will become available on myNDSU shortly before Welcome Week begins.

Transfer students are welcome to attend this small group meeting to meet other transfer students and to begin making connections.

Affinity group dinners are a chance for students with similar backgrounds and interests to connect. Any new first-year or transfer student who wishes to attend is welcome. Stop by the West Dining Center for a take-out dinner and come to the designated location for the group you wish to attend. Those without 7-day meal plans should stop by the Student Success Programs table at West Dining Center entrance to pick up a free meal ticket.  Be sure to get to West Dining Center by 5:30 p.m. to allow enough time to get your meal, get to the affinity group dinner location, and socialize.

Please take an hour sometime throughout the day to use the Navigate app to find your classes and campus resources.  Navigate has a handy GPS map of all campus buildings and resources so you can easily find your way.  If you haven't already downloaded the Navigate app to your mobile device, search "Navigate Student" wherever you get your apps.  Select North Dakota State University as your institution and use your NDSU electronic ID and password to log in.

Walk (or sit) and Talk with a Returning Student

Get to Know NDSU's Farm Animals

NDSU has a rich tradition as an agricultural institution, and you have an opportunity to get to know the animals! There will be equine grooming, bottle feeding dairy calves, and looking at ultrasounds of pig and sheep. Face coverings required for the protection of the animals and humans.
