Welcome to the Department of Youth Development, Family, and Agricultural Education

We address the educational preparation for teachers, Extension professionals, and our youth in communities across our landscape. We are a multi-disciplinary unit where faculty and staff members lead the programs for 4-H Youth Development, Agricultural Education, Extension Education, and Family and Consumer Sciences Education at North Dakota State University. 

Through skill development and advanced educational experiences, we empower people to lead in their communities, schools, and organizations to make a difference in the lives of others and the industries we serve.
