Animal Unit Showcase

On Friday August 26, the Animal Sciences Department hosted the Animal Units showcase event for Welcome Week! Around two hundred students stopped by to see the Farm Unit animals at Shepperd Arena. NDSU President Cook, his wife and daughter also visited, engaging with everybody at all the stations. There was a pen of miniature horses; a horse grooming station; exhibits with dairy calves, sheep, and pigs; a dairy calve bottle feeding opportunity and much more. Thanks to all faculty, staff, and students that volunteered their time to make this event the success it was!
