Cereal and Food Science Course Now Offered with Dual Credit

One of 15 classes now offered by the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) for dual credit is the Department of Plant Sciences course, Cereal and Food Sciences 210 Introduction to Food Science and Technology, taught by Dr. Anuradha Vegi. Dual credit courses allow students to earn high school and college credit at the same time, either in person or online. Dual credit classes are selected to offer exploratory experiences to help students meet college credit requirements.

Vegi is the NDSU Undergraduate Food Science Program Coordinator and an Assistant Professor of Practice. She also teaches CFS 370 Food Processing I, CFS 450/650 Cereal Technology, CFS 470/670 Food Processing II, CFS 471/671 Food Processing Laboratory, CFS 472/672 Cereal and Food Fermentation, CFS 452/652 Food Laws and Regulations, and CFS 474/674 Sensory Science of Foods.
