2025 Harvest Bowl Celebrates County Agriculturists

The success, dedication and hard work of outstanding agriculturists in North Dakota and Minnesota were honored during the 51st annual Harvest Bowl program at North Dakota State University on November 14th, 2025. Congratulations to Casey and Sara Hoverson as Grand Forks County Outstanding Agriculturalists at this year's Harvest Bowl. Casey and Sara operate a sixth-generation family farm in the Red River Valley, raising 5,500 acres of irrigated potatoes for processing and additional rotational crops with family. Over 24 years, they’ve prioritized sustainable practices like cover cropping, precision technology and conservation tillage. They support research through collaborations like the NDSU Potato Research Program. Casey, an Iraq War veteran, is active in the American Legion, Boy Scouts and his local church. Sara manages farm operations and volunteers with 4-H, grower events and church youth programs, all while helping raise their three children on the farm.
