2025 CAP Center 5th Annual Symposium Recap
The 5th Annual CAP Center Symposium was held on November 18th at NDSU in Fargo. It featured a full day of discussion and learning focused on advancing pharmacy practice in North Dakota. Key topics included integrating pharmacogenomics for personalized patient care, strategies for accurate Medicaid billing, implementing collaborative practice agreements, building partnerships to support healthy aging and chronic disease management, and expanding the role of community health workers in pharmacy settings. The event offered both in-person and virtual participation, along with continuing education opportunities for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Thrifty White Trade Show
In May 2025, members of the CAP Center participated in the Thrifty White Trade Show, where Dr. Elizabeth Skoy, Associate Professor at North Dakota State University, led a session demonstrating injection techniques for pharmacists.
NDPhA Conference
In April 2025, the CAP Center team participated in the 140th Annual North Dakota Pharmacy Convention in Bismarck. We showcased our ongoing projects through poster presentations and hosted the conference's opening social event at the Peacock Lounge.

CAP Center Seminar
July 17, 2023: The CAP Center hosted a webinar on 7/17/23 that included a panel of experts in pharmacy practices that focused on updates with North Dakota Medicaid. Topics included recent updates to ND Medicaid, how to become an enrolled Medicaid provider as a pharmacist, and how to bill and receive payment for services provided by pharmacists.
