About the Project

As part of our partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), this project focused on increasing healthcare provider confidence in vaccine conversations—especially around the HPV vaccine. Many clinicians remain hesitant to initiate these important conversations, despite being one of the most trusted sources of vaccine information for families. This presentation is designed to support providers with evidence-based strategies, practical tools, and communication tips to improve HPV vaccination rates and protect adolescent health.

What You'll Learn from This Presentation

In this recorded session, providers will:

  • Understand current HPV vaccination trends in Minnesota and nationally
  • Explore common barriers to HPV vaccination and how to address them
  • Learn evidence-based communication techniques, including motivational interviewing
  • Gain confidence in recommending the HPV vaccine effectively and early
