Thomas C. Wold graduated from Shanley High School in Fargo and from the University of North Dakota, undergraduate as well as law school.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of First Community Bank, St John’s Hospital and the Fargo Chamber of Commerce.

He practiced law at Wold Johnson, P.C. He served on the first Airport Authority, was a member of the ND House of Representatives, a member of the Fargo Dome Steering Committee, a trustee of the F-M Area foundation, and was instrumental in starting the Red River Zoo and on its Board of directors.

A believer in stewardship, he was an incorporator and board member of Shanley GROW and Catholic School Network Foundation, and chairman of the Nativity Church Building Campaign in 1976.

He has co-developed hotels, restaurants, retail, office, apartments, condos and the City of Briarwood.

Tom credits his success to having “married well.” - - twice. He and his wife Pat, who died in 1995, have 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is now married to Lisa Wheeler.
