Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Several faculty in the department have openings for undergraduates to work in their research labs. Undergraduates typically work 10 hours per week and work alongside a graduate student or postdoctoral scientist. It is best if you have several 3-5 hour blocks of time during the day. This is a great chance to learn what research is all about and see the how the things you are learning in class are used in a research laboratory.
If you are interested, send an email to Dr. Dean Webster, Department Chair (dean.webster@ndsu.edu) and put UGRA: [your name] in the subject line. Include a brief resume listing your relevant courses and work experience.
