In this 3-day corrosion short course, you will learn basics of corrosion science and engineering, how to characterize corrosion, and practical techniques and strategies on coating/material design and formulation for corrosion performance. You will benefit from the course if your work involves corrosion, protective coatings, polymer/composite materials that protect metals from corrosion. The course is designed with the minimal requirement of chemistry background. Both scientists and engineers would find the course easy to follow.

The course fee, if the registration and payment is received by April 23, is $1500. The course fee is $1,700 for registrations and payments received after April 23. Registration closes May 9. The course fee includes course materials, lab supplies, continental breakfast and lunch each day, as well as transportation between hotel and campus.
