Located in NDSU’s Research and Technology Park, you’ll have access to nearly 40,000 square feet of space for research with extensive instrumentation ranging from state-of-the-art spectrometers, thermal analysis systems, advanced electrochemical equipment to study corrosion and atomic force microscopes, as well as equipment for paint making and testing.
Prestigious Scholarships
The Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials provides over $22,000 in scholarships to undergraduates enrolled in the minor each year. Individual awards typically vary from $500 to over $3,000 per applicant depending on applicant qualifications.
Accelerated Master’s Option Available
High-achieving undergraduates can complete both their bachelor's and master's degrees in coatings and polymeric materials in as little as five years.
