I am currently a Client Success Executive at CAMP Digital. We are a digital marketing agency that manages Google and Bing ads along with websites for home and local service business. I manage the day-to-day communication with our clients, lead meetings, and coordinate with our internal teams on projects.

How did your time as an English major prepare you for your current role or your career?
I was able to develop my writing skills and communication styles while at NDSU and use those skills everyday in my role at CAMP Digital. There isn't one specific class that stands out as the most helpful for my current career but all of the classes I took combined taught me how to write and communicate in different styles. That skill helps me to be able to talk to our different clients in the way that works best for them.
What advice would you give to someone considering an English major?
My advice to anyone who is considering majoring in English would be that it is a very versatile degree and you can do many different things with it. I would also suggest doing as big of a mix of classes at the start as they can. Don't just do literature classes or just do composition classes. Add some variety as they work together to develop some well-rounded skills.
