Pharmacy Practice faculty recognized at NDSU's Celebration of Excellence

At NDSU’s Celebration of Excellence this week, Drs. Heidi Eukel and Daniel Kenzie received university-wide awards for their excellence in teaching.
Heidi Eukel, PharmD, received the 2025 Odney Award for Excellence in Teaching. Eukel, a professor in the Pharmacy Practice department, was nominated for the award by students as someone one who stimulates continuing interest in the subject matter; presents course material in a clear and suitable manner; demands rigorous thought and generates enthusiastic responses from students; demonstrates distinctive competence in his or her field; and has made positive contributions to the educational experience of students in NDSU's PharmD program. These nominations are then reviewed by Faculty Affairs/Office of the Provost.
Daniel Kenzie, PhD, received the 2024-2025 Peltier Innovation in Teaching Award. Kenzie, assistant professor in the Pharmacy Practice department, received the Peltier Award as recognition of his role as an outstanding educator whose innovative teaching techniques have contributed to enhancing the educational experience of students at North Dakota State University.
