  • For F-1 international students, assignments are made alphabetically by last/family name.
  • J-1 international students meet with an advisor on an appointment-only basis.

Sara serves as the international student advisor for all J-1 students at NDSU and also handles the admission of J-1 exchange, affiliate, and sponsored students. She is the office webmaster and handles health insurance cards and billing issues for international students. In addition, she is the project manager for the office's electronic file system, ImageNow. 

Please note: If you are an F-1 student who has questions about health insurance, please contact your assigned F-1 international student advisor listed above.

Also,  J-1 scholars are advised by Tabitha Thomas, located in Old Main 201B, in the Office of the Provost.

Our office is open weekdays, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Winter Break and Summer Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm.
