Music Ed Summer Symposium

Join the music education faculty of North Dakota State University for a unique symposium designed to develop effective teaching in music education. This event offers a unique opportunity to participate in sessions on successful teaching strategies and gain valuable resources.

  • Earn three hours credit toward the NDSU Master of Music in Music Education degree.
  • Earn Continuing Education credit for those interested in enriching their teaching.
  • Choose separate sessions for instrumental, choral, and elementary music.
  • Work with nationally recognized master teachers.
  • Tailor sessions to your needs, including material from one, two, or all sessions.
  • Re-kindle your passion for teaching as you prepare for the new school year.
Course Requirements/Assignments
  • Synchronous online or face-to-face attendance
  • A daily journal of reflections detailing each day’s activities and how they benefit your teaching
