“We are the only suite of programs in the country that integrates emergency management and disaster resilience with landscape architecture under a single department, and we deliver this distinctively interdisciplinary, research-active education at R1 university quality and regional public tuition rates,” said Dominic Fischer, chair and associate professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture, Disaster Resilience and Emergency Management.

Students enrolled in the program travel and learn in places across the country, like Chicago, San Francisco, New York City and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Travel costs for these trips are included in the tuition structure.
