Welcome to Architecture
For more than a century, Architecture at North Dakota State University, part of the School of Design, Architecture and Art, has prepared students to shape the built environment through rigorous studio-based education, technical innovation and community engagement. Grounded in the land-grant mission, the program challenges students to think critically, design responsibly and respond to the complex social and environmental issues facing our world.
One Department. United in Design.
Architecture is housed within the Department of Architecture and Interior Design, where both programs share a collaborative foundation rooted in design excellence and stewardship. While each discipline offers a distinct professional pathway, students benefit from an interdisciplinary environment that encourages creative exchange and prepares graduates to contribute meaningfully at every scale of the built environment.
