Cost and Scholarships
Cost of Attendance
Tuition for the Architecture and Interior Design programs is set by the University. Please note that undergraduate tuition rates are different. View the Estimated Costs of Attendance for more information.
In addition to the published indirect costs, students in the Architecture program should expect the following program-specific expenses:
- All architecture students are expected to purchase a laptop computer that meets current design technology requirements in their second year of the program. The estimated cost of this laptop computer is typically around $2000-2500.
- Annual design technology education software licenses and related online services are typically around $500 per year.
- Course fees for experiential learning are $450 in the third year of the curriculum and $150 in the fourth year of the curriculum.
- Students who wish to participate in the Study Abroad semester can expect a parem fee in addition to their tuition. More information on that option can be found here: NDSU Global Seminar - International Design Studio
