The NDSU Interior Design program blends creativity, technical skill and critical thinking to prepare students for professional practice and advanced study. Through studio-based learning, hands-on projects and real-world experience, students develop a strong foundation in design theory, materials, building systems and human-centered design.

Graduates leave the program ready to design interiors that are both aesthetically compelling and responsive to human needs.
