Teen Creative Writing Camp scheduled

Registration for the seventh annual Creative Writing Camp hosted by the NDSU English department is now open. Students entering grades 4-6 and 7-12 can participate, regardless of skill level.

For grades 7-12, session one will be held June 23 through June 27. Session two will be held July 28 through Aug. 1. Both sessions are scheduled to last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost to attend is $250, which covers all supplies, a camp t-shirt, meals and snacks. The sessions are also open to those who want to attend virtually for $180.

For grades 4-6, session one will be held June 16 through June 20. Session two will be held July 14 through July 18. Both sessions are scheduled to last from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost to attend is $125, which covers all supplies, a camp t-shirt, meals and snacks.

Sessions for both grade levels cover fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, fantasy, screenwriting, song writing and graphic novels.
