Our Purpose

The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis supports the NDSU mission by developing data resources, sharing knowledge, and facilitating understanding to inform decision-making that enhances student success and institutional effectiveness. The office is a relationship-based resource that aims to unify people and data through collaborative outreach to the NDSU community. The office contributes to institutional accountability through the timely and accurate fulfilling of external reporting responsibilities.

Our Scope of Work

External reporting (mandatory, third-party, key performance indicators)
Aggregate data requests (descriptive or inferential statistical analyses)
Internal reporting (dashboards, internal reports)
Institutional research project development and data interpretation (surveys, studies using secondary data, qualitative data analysis)
