Chelsea Pace is a creator of new work, fight choreographer, performance artist, and the Assistant Professor of Movement at North Dakota State University. She received her M.F.A. in Theatre Performance at Arizona State University. She is the founder of The Consent Project, a series of performative and mediated public interventions addressing issues of consent and sexual assault and has created several pieces for the project. Her book project, a practical handbook for staging intimacy and sexual violence, is in progress and will be the first publication of this scope on the topic.

In 2014, she was selected as one of the Phoenix New Times "100 Creatives" and in 2013 she received an AriZoni Award for Best Choreography. Chelsea is a member of the Network of Ensemble Theatres, The Association for Theatre in Higher Education, The Society of American Fight Directors, and is the communications director for The Association of Theatre Movement Educators.
