Professor Sylvio May, along with graduate students Stephan Loew, Goetz Kaehler, and Demmelash Mengistu organized three events for the 2008 Science Olympiad: Physics Lab, Crave the Wave, and Trajectory.
Physics Lab
"Physics Lab" students investigated the properties of springs.
Crave the Wave
In ''Crave the wave'' students were asked to answer 20 different test questions, all relating to waves.
Trajectory
''Trajectory'' students brought their own shooting devices that were used to aim at two targets three- and seven meters away from the launching spot.
