Designed for working professionals, this certificate delivers hands-on training in the tools and techniques at the heart of public health. Through coursework built from core Master of Public Health classes, you’ll learn to design data collection instruments, conduct disease surveillance and outbreak investigations, apply descriptive methods and data visualization and interpret complex epidemiologic data. With a focus on high-impact areas like epidemiologic fundamentals, research methods, health surveillance and survey design, the certificate prepares you to take immediate, evidence-based action in various organizations and throughout the community.
