Undergraduate Program in Statistics

Statistics is the science of analyzing numerical data, from calculating basic statistics to applying advanced statistical theory. Professionals across fields such as agriculture, pharmacy, business, human development, and social sciences rely on statistical tools to make informed decisions.

The Department of Statistics offers an undergraduate major leading to a B.S. in Statistics, with options to continue to M.S. or Ph.D. programs, as well as minors available for both undergraduate and graduate students. The program is flexible, allowing students to tailor their coursework based on prior experience and professional goals.
