What is your favorite dining center meal?

What is the most important thing to bring with you to college?
All of your chargers.

If you could talk to your high school self on move-in day, what would you say?
Everyone is in the same boat, it's okay to be nervous. You're going to make friends.

What’s a hidden gem around campus?
The top level in the Union has so many study spots and some people play the piano there.

What has been your favorite campus event so far?
I went to a late-night breakfast at West Dining Center and got served French toast by President Cook.

What has been your favorite class so far?
MICR 202: Intro to microbiology.

What is the most ‘NDSU’ moment you’ve had so far?
Cheering at the football games in the Fargodome.

If you had to sum up your NDSU experience in three words, what would they be?
Exciting, community, educational.

What’s your favorite NDSU amenity/service (ex. Wellness center, ACE, etc.)
The counseling center.

What is the most important thing to bring with you to college?
Good pair of gloves.

If you could talk to your high school self on move-in day, what would you say?
Take a breath! Go to the welcome week events but take a break if you need it. It's a big change, and things will fall into place when it's time.

What’s often misunderstood about NDSU?
That it's all agriculture and there's not much to do here. There's something for every interest, and it's a top university for many different majors.

What’s a hidden gem around campus?
Top floor of the Aldevron Tower for studying and the outdoor areas around Stevens Hall for hanging out when the weather’s nice.

What has been your favorite campus event so far?
Any trivia nights.

What has been your favorite class so far?
HIST 438: Historical archaeology.

What is the most ‘NDSU’ moment you’ve had so far?
Homecoming freshman year, we got first row seats at one of the endzones.

If you had to sum up your NDSU experience in three words, what would they be?
Diverse, engaging, challenging (but rewarding).

What’s your favorite NDSU amenity/service (ex. Wellness center, ACE, etc.)
Center for Writers.

If you could talk to your high school self on move-in day, what would you say?
Go meet people! I know it may be so weird and awkward but seriously you will not regret it.

What’s often misunderstood about NDSU?
NDSU isn't just a farm school, we have some of the best programs for engineering, nursing and so much more.

What’s a hidden gem around campus?
Free bowling every Thursday at the Bowler.

What has been your favorite class so far?
MICR 455: Microbial biotechnology.

What is the most ‘NDSU’ moment you’ve had so far?
Tailgating before the football games.

If you had to sum up your NDSU experience in three words, what would they be?
Absolutely no regrets.

What’s your favorite NDSU amenity/service (ex. Wellness center, ACE, etc.)
ACE Tutoring is amazing. It’s such a hidden gem for getting ahead with classes.

What is your favorite dining center meal?
I love the sesame orange chicken, chicken caesar wraps or the sushi bowls from Creation at Residence Dining Center!

What is the most important thing to bring with you to college?
Pictures from home and string lights to make my dorm feel like home.

If you could talk to your high school self on move-in day, what would you say?
Smile and talk to everyone you can.

What’s often misunderstood about NDSU?
That everyone is already going to know each other. Because I grew up so far away from North Dakota, I was worried that everyone would know each other and everyone would have friends already. I found out after moving in that everyone is looking for a friend.

What’s a hidden gem around campus?
The best place to study outside is near the volleyball nets near West Dining Center. Just remember to bring a picnic blanket.

What has been your favorite campus event so far?
Either the Homecoming parade or grocery bag bingo.

What has been your favorite class so far?
EDUC 322: Educational psychology with Larry Napoleon.

What is the most ‘NDSU’ moment you’ve had so far?
Getting a tractor ride around campus (And trying to learn how to drive it).

If you had to sum up your NDSU experience in three words, what would they be?
Friends, learning, fun.

What is the most important thing to bring with you to college?
A comfort Item.

If you could talk to your high school self on move-in day, what would you say?
It's going to be alright buddy!

What’s often misunderstood about NDSU?
There is nothing happening in Fargo. Not only does main campus have a bunch of events, so does all of downtown Fargo.

What’s a hidden gem around campus?
The downtown part of campus, or Lofstgard Hall atrium space.

What has been your favorite campus event so far?
Pretty much anything during Welcome Week is a hoot and a half. Recently they have been having really fun block parties for students.

What has been your favorite class so far?
ANTH 111: Introduction to anthropology.

What is the most ‘NDSU’ moment you’ve had so far?
The first time I saw the NDSU football team make it to the championship. The energy in the Dome is electric.

If you had to sum up your NDSU experience in three words, what would they be?
Exploratory, vibrant, community

What’s your favorite NDSU amenity/service (ex. Wellness center, ACE, etc.)
We have an excellent wellness center, it is easily better than most gyms in the Fargo area.

Everything is going to be okay, don’t stress too much and go have fun.

What’s often misunderstood about NDSU?
That you won’t know anyone -- NDSU is about the perfect size that you’ll run into people you know all over campus and still get to meet new people every day!

What’s a hidden gem around campus?
The garden area in Lofstgard Hall.

What has been your favorite campus event so far?
The ballroom barn dance put on by the Western swing dance club.

What has been your favorite class so far?
ANSC 200: Anthrozoology.

What is the most ‘NDSU’ moment you’ve had so far?
Feeling at home on campus.

Joyful, friends, energy.
