Today is Giving Day

Today is the start of NDSU’s 10th annual Giving Day, an 1,890-minute celebration of generosity, opportunity and Bison pride.
For the next 31½ hours, alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of NDSU are encouraged to give back and support the people and programs that make the university strong. Gifts made today will help fund scholarships, research, and hands-on learning opportunities that shape the student experience and drive innovation across campus.
Donations can be made easily and securely online through the NDSU Foundation’s Giving Day website. Supporters can choose to give to any college, department or program, and many areas have matching or challenge gifts that will double or even triple the impact of individual donations.
Giving Day began in 2016 to unite the Bison community around investing in students and the future of the university. Over the past decade, it has grown into one of NDSU’s most visible traditions, bringing together thousands of donors from around the country and beyond. Each year, the campaign helps fund student scholarships, faculty research, classroom technology, and outreach programs that strengthen communities across North Dakota.
Every contribution helps students succeed, supports faculty innovation, and ensures that NDSU continues to lead on the frontier of discovery in agriculture, engineering, health professions and emerging fields such as artificial intelligence.
Giving Day will continue through Wednesday, Oct. 15. Alumni and friends can follow campaign updates, track progress, and share their own Bison stories on the Foundation’s social media channels throughout the day.
The campaign honors NDSU’s founding in 1890 with 1,890 minutes of giving, community and pride.
