Brainfuse is a national online tutoring and academic skills resource hosted by professional tutors and funded by NDSU's Student Success Programs. Most tutors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Brainfuse online tutoring is a great option for NDSU students who want help online or after hours. Students can meet with tutors for live tutoring, submit questions, or utilize the many other academic success resources available.

Working with Brainfuse online tutors is easy. Tutors and students communicate in real-time through the Brainfuse classroom. Students can share work through typing, drawing, screen sharing, or using the Brainfuse app to quickly send work in progress. Plus, all of the sessions are recorded for later review.

Tutoring is available in virtually any language. The Brainfuse classroom features an AI-based translation engine that enables tutors and students to communicate in 100+ languages.

• SkillSurfer Videos: 100's of recorded video lessons. Watch a video and if you still have a question link directly to a tutor in that subject.
• FlashBulb Flashcards: Make your own or use expert created flash cards. Brainfuse even has a feature to gamify your flash cards.
• Leap: if you have been away from college or a subject for an extended time, use Brainfuse's Leap to check your skill level in various topics and get back up to speed.
• Meet: invite classmates to meet in the virtual study room for your own self-scheduled study groups with full access to the Brainfuse classroom whiteboard tools.

We recommend downloading the Brainfuse HelpNow mobile app to access Brainfuse's full features. It not only makes working with a tutor easy from your mobile device, importantly the mobile app includes the Snap and Send feature. Snap and Send allows you to take a picture of work in progress to share directly with your tutor (no need to re-do work you have already begun). Available on GooglePlay or the App Store.

Brainfuse online tutoring offers a team of approximately 4,000 highly-qualified tutors. All tutors undergo a rigorous training process that exceeds Level 3 College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) standards. All of Brainfuse's tutors hold at least a bachelor's degree, and many hold master’s degrees or PhDs in their fields. Brainfuse's online tutors are not affiliated with NDSU.
