David Froslie

David brings over 25 years of software leadership experience, including nearly 20 years at Microsoft where he held roles spanning engineering management, software architecture, and AI strategy for Dynamics 365. His expertise covers data architecture, machine learning, time series forecasting, and cloud platform migration.

At NDSU, he leads the industry-focused Computer Science Capstone program and teaches data engineering. As a consultant for AgDA, he focuses on team and product strategy, data architecture, and software design.

Dr. Salvador Gezan

Dr. Gezan is a global expert in linear mixed models (LMM) applied to breeding and quantitative genetics. For more than 20 years, he has supported public and private breeding programs as an international consultant and professor, including work with the University of Florida, Rothamsted Research, and VSNi.

He provides guidance and leadership for projects related to breeding pipeline applications and big-data analysis, and supports modernization and training initiatives for breeding programs at NDSU.

Johan Aparicio

Johan specializes in spatial analysis and LMM for field trials, with a strong focus on data science workflows and visual analytics that accelerate decision-making in plant breeding.

He is the developer of Mr. Bean, an R-Shiny application for large-scale breeding experiment analysis, and is also developing Mr.Gen for genomic-selection cross-validation workflows.
