Program Quality

We are committed to providing high program quality in all of our courses and field experiences. Not only are we accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), but we also regularly review our curriculum and modify it to ensure that students receive the highest level of education available.

Accreditation

The Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, the School Counseling Program, and the Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision are all accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and approved by the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education. In addition, NDSU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Attending an accredited program is essential to a quality learning experience and will increase job opportunities for graduates.
