Center for Emergency Management Education and Research (CEMER) staff have a wealth of experience in emergency management program administration, curriculum development, and assessment and are also actively engaged in national dialogues regarding formalization of the academic discipline of emergency management and higher education program development. For these reasons, CEMER staff have been asked to serve as external reviewers for institutional reviews of emergency management programs and to serve as part of regional/international accreditation teams.
