Preparing Future Scientists
PICNICS is a summer research program for high school students that provides hands-on experience in chemistry, biochemistry, coatings and polymeric materials, and engineering labs at NDSU. Participants work alongside NDSU Researchers while gaining confidence, and valuable lab experience.
Application Materials

Application should be filled out in its entirety before submitting to an approved school official listed at the end of the application.

This form should be completed by a school official who recommends the student for admittance into the PICNICS program.
All application materials should be submitted to Anna Bultman (anna.bultman@ndsu.edu) before the deadline of April 30th, 2026.
