2026 Application
Our application consists of two (2!) parts:
- An online application - completed by you. To help you write a stellar application, a PDF of our extended prompts is available for download. You will also want to review our project descriptions to identify your top choices!
- Two professional recommendation letters submitted via the NSF ETAP website. We encourage you to reach out to your references and direct them to the ETAP website.
Please note that due to volume, we are unable to confirm when applications are complete.
Eligibility
- CiDER is open to undergraduate students who will retain their undergraduate status through at least August 2026.
- US Citizen or Resident Alien stats required.
- No research experience needed!
Timeline
- Applications and recommendations are due February 2, 2026
- Notification of acceptable will occur in early Spring of 2026
