Required Student Trainings
An important part of becoming a member of the NDSU community is to learn about the expectations of being a Bison. Part of your learning is completed through the following required trainings found at Vector Solutions.
Alcohol and Other Drugs: (30 minutes)
College life comes with choices and not all of them are easy, especially when it comes to alcohol and other drugs. This training gives you the basics on these substances and how they can mess with your grades, your brain, your peers, and your future. Packed with real research, relatable scenarios, and practical tips, this training is set-up to help you handle tricky situations like a pro. Think of this training as your guide to staying sharp, staying safe, and still having a good time.
Hazing Awareness and Prevention: (25 minutes)
Not all traditions are worth keeping, especially when they cross the line. This course dives into the truth about hazing: what it looks like, why it is harmful, and how to seek help if you need it. Whether you're joining a new group or already part of one, this course gives you the tools to protect yourself and others.
Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates: (75 minutes)
This interactive course will focus on how to build healthy relationships, recognize red flags, and learn what to do if you or someone else experiences sexual assault or harassment. Through awareness and practical tips, you will build the confidence to speak up, step in, and help create a campus where everyone feels safe, respected, and supported.
