Apply for Graduation
The following instructions will guide you through the process of completing the graduation application in Campus Connection.
Access the Application
- Log into Campus Connection.
- From the Student Homepage, select the Academic Records tile.
- Choose Graduation from the menu, then click Apply for Graduation.
Select Your Program
If you're in more than one program, you'll be asked to choose the one you're applying for. If you plan to graduate from multiple programs in the same semester, you must submit a separate application for each one.
If any of the following apply, contact the Graduate School before you submit your application:
- A major (graduate program) or certificate program is missing.
- You are no longer pursuing a listed major or certificate.
- Your track (sub-plan) is missing or incorrect.
Review and Submit
- Review all program details. If they are correct, click Continue.
- If you need to update any information, contact the Graduate School before submitting your application.
- On the next screen, double-check your information in the NDSU/Graduate section.
- If everything is correct, click Submit Application. You will see a confirmation message once it's complete.
Finalize Your Personal Information
After submitting, you'll need to review your diploma details.
- Verify the spelling of your name exactly as you want it to appear on your diploma. If you need to make a correction, you may have an option to edit it directly. Note that a formal name change may need to be requested separately through Registration and Records.
- Enter the address where you want your diploma mailed. Be sure this address will be valid for several months after your graduation date.
What to Expect
- After your graduation application is received, you will be contacted, via your NDSU email, regarding your graduation audit and remaining steps to degree completion.
