Student Leadership Administrative Support

Position Overview

This position will report to the Assistant Director for Leadership Development and provide support in regards to event planning, student leadership/hall government, and supporting department collaborations. 

Tasks/Duties Assigned:

  • Providing support for event planning (Welcome Week, Homecoming, departmental events, etc.)
  • Assist with updating/archiving the hall pages within myNDSU 
  • Administrative support with the student leadership plan including but not limited to binders, constitution updates, etc.
  • Provide administrative duties in Residence Life including:  
    • Covering desk hours
    • Upholding departmental policies and procedures
    • Providing customer service to students and guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may include projects with other on-campus departments and responsibilities that involve physical demands (lifting tables, moving boxes, etc.).


  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • In good standing with the University (academics and conduct)


  • Position is April 2023 - October 2023, with possible option to continue
  • $11/hour
  • 10-15 hours/week, hours are flexible to the student's schedule
