The Department of Residence Life supports students by providing a vibrant, healthy place to live and learn.
Residence Life is an Auxiliary Service at North Dakota State University. As such, no state appropriated money is received. Revenue received from room rental and apartment rent provides funding for current operations including but not limited to salaries & benefits, facility improvements & utilities, IT communications, staff training, debt retirement and marketing.
