Fall 2026 Theatre Auditions:
Ride the Cyclone and Kimberly Akimbo
Theatre NDSU invites you to audition for our Fall 2026 productions of Ride the Cyclone in October and Kimberly Akimbo in December! Students of ALL majors are invited to audition.
Auditions for both shows will take place from 6 – 9 p.m. Sunday, August 30 and Monday, August 31. See how to prepare and sign up for a time slot below!

Audition Location
Auditions will take place in Askanase Hall, located at 1497 12th Avenue North on NDSU's campus.
- Auditions for Ride the Cyclone will be held in Askanase Auditorium (the main theatre in Askanase Hall)
- Auditions for Kimberly Akimbo will be held in the Walsh Studio Theatre (the black box theatre in the northwest corner of Askanase Hall)
Callback Dates/Times
Tuesday, September 1
- Ride the Cyclone: 5 – 8 p.m. in Askanase Auditorium
- Kimberly Akimbo: 8 – 11 p.m. in Walsh Studio Theatre
Audition Preparation
Sign up to audition by clicking the "Sign Up" button below.
- Please DO NOT make any edits to the spreadsheet apart from adding or deleting your name from an audition slot.
- Please sign up for the earliest slot available and avoid leaving slots open.
- PRINT, FILL OUT, and BRING an Audition Information Form ("Audition Information Form" button).
- Printed forms are also available at the Theatre Office in 107 of Askanase Hall.
- Please be ready at least 20 minutes ahead of your audition time.
- Audition Requirements and everything else you need to prepare for your audition for either Ride the Cyclone or Kimberly Akimbo are available through the "Audition Materials" button.
