Getting a GED (General Education Development) Diploma
Preparation and Testing Sites
For anyone who did not graduate from high school, General Educational Development (GED) tests in five academic subject areas can be used to certify academic knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma.
GED preparation and testing is not a service that the VET program provides directly. You normally would contact your local school district's adult learning services center, and links to the ones in our AOR are below.
**Just need a copy of your GED transcript sent to a college, or a copy of your diploma? If it was completed anywhere in North Dakota, request for your GED transcript online to be sent to your school, or a replacement diploma sent to you. Otherwise, contact your state's department of public instruction.
