Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to enhance development and individual learning styles of young children. Teachers plan, implement and evaluate a curriculum that is challenging and engaging while being culturally and linguistically sensitive. It promotes positive outcomes for all children. in partnership with parents, we ensure school readiness and help prepare children for successful participation in work and life. We help your child develop socially, emotionally and physically through:

  • Cognitive skills
  • Science
  • Early Literacy
  • Health and Safety
  • Early Mathematics
  • Self-Help Skills
  • Social Studies
  • Creative Expression
  • Art Appreciation

Activities are planned throughout the day, balancing indoor/outdoor and active/quiet times. Cultural diversity and community service learning projects enrich our curriculum. Hands-on learning is fostered through utilizing NDSU resources such as faculty or staff sharing information about their professions, research opportunities and the use of campus facilities. Breakfast, lunch and snack are served daily following the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements.
