Business Coordinator - Computer Science
The Business Coordinator for Computer Science provides administrative support to the chair and faculty of the Computer Science department; financial compliance and management; communications for the department; office operations; HR action and payroll processing; budgeting and reconciliations; work safely; and other duties as assigned. This position develops, implements, and monitors procedures and systems that provide productive and efficient operations while ensuring the department is in compliance with university and college administrative policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree with 2 years of directly related work experience, or 4 years directly related work experience.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Proven experience in problem solving.
- Customer service oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize duties and respond promptly to technical requests or ability to independently research and compile data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years directly related work experience.
- Payroll experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other related major.
