Azure Dev Tools for Teaching

You will have access to software and the Azure cloud platform through one online portal. Verified students can also get free access to Azure without a credit card, plus USD100 in credit. This includes professional developer tools, software and services. Everything you need to create apps, games and websites. 

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is managed though the NDSU Help Desk (ndsu.helpdesk@ndsu.edu) (701) 231-8685. Please contact them for help and support.

Student Advantage Program

Microsoft has added the Student Advantage Program, which provides students and NDSU employees with free access to Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus, a full version of Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook…and more! This is through ITS and available to all students and employees, however, users must connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify they are still eligible for the program.

Software Downloads for Students, Faculty and Staff

NDSU licenses a variety of non-Microsoft programs for use at no charge by faculty staff and students. These include anti-virus and anti-spam software, networking and utility software. 

Log in at the Software Downloads page to access these programs.
