Undergraduate Programs

The Bachelor of Science in Health Services (BSHS) includes a mix of academic and experiential training that meets the needs of public health and healthcare-related employers. The degree is designed to provide an efficient and flexible four-year degree, which allows students to pursue entry-level employment in health-related settings and/or prepare for graduate/advanced professional-level training programs.

Designed for students with a strong interest in promoting health and preventing disease, this minor provides a dynamic foundation in the history, philosophy and global functions of public health.

Public health is both a science and an art, blending insights from social, biological and clinical sciences to tackle today’s most pressing health challenges. For a more tailored degree, pursue the Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, which has an emphasis on disease surveillance and outbreak investigation, epidemiologic methods and health survey research.
