NDSU is a safe environment for adult and youth conference participants.

All participants are encouraged to review NDSU safety information prior to visiting our campus.

North Dakota State University Safety Record

Federal law requires NDSU to inform faculty, staff, students, guests and other interested persons concerning campus crime and safety issues. All campus guests are encouraged to review this information prior to visiting NDSU and to take all necessary precautions to safeguard the safety of themselves and their property while experiencing our wonderful community and campus. Emergency Notification Systems

Fargo Code Red

Fargo CodeRED is an automated emergency notification system. The user selects the type of notifications to receive (Emergencies, Severe weather, general notifications) and the system will call and/or text you when a situation arises.

 Fire Alarm Systems

Safety is a priority at NDSU. All campus building are periodically inspected by the local fire inspector. Residence Hall rooms meet the highest standards for sleeping accommodations and have been equipped with state of the art fire alarm systems. Staff participate in safety training classes as well as periodic fire drills.

Tornado Warning Systems

The NDSU campus is equipped with a tornado warning system. Sirens are activated when a tornado warning is issued by the National Weather Service. Conference participants are directed to the nearest secure facility.  Signs are posted in all residence halls with appropriate locations.  TTornaddo sires are tested  on the first Wednesday of the month, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

*Summer business hours from mid-May to mid-August are 7:30 am to 4 pm. During breaks, the hours are also 7:30 am to 4 pm.

During the academic year from mid August to Mid May campus business hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, except for breaks.
